Hi, I’m Alexis.
Helping people grow and organizations work better.
Former Managing Director at KIPP Capital Region, advising the CEO and leading people initiatives across seven schools. My work is building practical people programs, strengthening leadership teams, and helping organizations navigate change with clarity, fairness, and care.

A little about me
My career has been about helping organizations build stronger teams, develop leaders, and create workplaces where people feel both supported and accountable.
At KIPP Capital Region, I built a regional function from the ground up and partnered with executive leadership on employee engagement, leadership development, workplace mediation, and people decisions. Earlier, I led teams through significant change at Mills College and built leadership and learning programs at Bard College. Today I also coach leaders and support organizations through my consulting practice, Woven Liberation.
People do their best work when expectations are clear, leaders listen, and organizations follow through on what they promise.
A few things I’m proud of
Led employee listening across seven schools, brought the findings to the CEO, and helped secure an $80K leadership engagement plus $20K in programming.
Launched a paid leadership fellowship that grew from nine staff to eleven in its second year; later fellowships built on the model.
Regional scope across seven KIPP schools, including a workplace mediation process I built and partnership with HR and legal counsel on investigations and employee relations.
Seven professional staff at Mills College, through the pandemic and the college’s acquisition by Northeastern University.
